THE RULES: List five songs that you currently love. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.
Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog (Xanga). Then tag five other Xanga friends to see what they're listening to.
Heather's currently listening to:

| As I woke up this morning like every other morning, and turned on the t.v. I realized how much the effects of 9/11 pain me after these past 4 years. We often get lost in everyday life not realizing the emense tragidy that still lives on and caught up with this busy world. Just watching the families of those who lost loved ones makes me realize how precious life is and how never to take anyone for granted. Arguments can come and go but lives can not. Hurricane Katrina has also made a tremendous impact on me. Watching the news and videos of those who have lost everything and suffered so much, still find a way to smile and be thankful because their lives were spared. This is such an inspiration. Its hard to see on t.v., kids who have been seperated from their families and people who wander the streets because they have no where to go. It makes me feel so guilty knowing I have food, water, and shelter while they have nothing and are struggling to move on with their lives. It's hard to watch news coverage and footage everyday of people suffering and not being able to be there and help. As for now I'm hoping to raise money for Mercy Corps in which 92% of donations go directly to the cause. http://www.mercycorps.org/
Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. ~ Joshua 1:9 | | |
